Mental health disorders and disabilities are differences in how the brain functions.

Those with mental health differences may communicate, interact, behave and learn in different ways, lasting a lifetime.

WHO WE ARE

Our foundation is inspired by Amber Black’s life journey with autism and PTSD. The vision is intended to act as a gateway and gift to the community and to exemplifying her commitment to overcome adversity. This foundation aims to focus on shedding hope, finding solutions and being an inspiration to others. It is because of Amber’s unique experiences in dealing with her own challenges and her passion for helping others, that our foundation was initiated as a vessel to uplift others and expand consciousness.

OUR MISSION

We’re on a mission to revolutionize the way individuals around the world embrace the concept of neurodiversity so they can maximize their own untapped potential; to help individuals and communities increase their overall resilience; and create a world grounded in a higher level of growth, tolerance, and connection.

OUR VISION

Our foundation’s vision is to be known as a leader in obliterating the myths around neurodiversity through public speaking, coaching, training, and mentorship that will educate, inspire, and revolutionize our world.

OUR CORE VALUES

The Amber Lynne Black Foundation strives to serve as a catalyst for innovative global change in the areas of neurodiversity, optimal performance, and overall mental health and
wellness. We encourage the collaboration of individuals from all walks of life – leaders, professionals and those whose lives have either been touched by those living with mental health
challenges, PTSD, and IDD or who have a driving passion for breaking through the existing boundaries of brain science, the neurology of evolution and neurodiversity in collaboration in cocreating a new future and human design.

Inclusive environments should be accessible to everyone; individualized services and interventions are essential to ensuring progress. Our approach draws on current evidence-based methodologies, studies, therapeutic practices and programs to bring forth the highest standards of care and direction to those in need.

We strive to create empowerment through education and training facilitated by teamwork that is in congruency with our values and collective movement. This embodiment of individuals with ASD, PTSD and IDD, their families, and those who work closely with them, and the members of their communities are best supported through a model driven by continuous learning, support, and research. Embracing all to a welcoming and warm collective where individuals, their families and others whose lives are touched by mental health challenges, PTSD, and IDD.
